Putting together this blog will be slow so please have patience. My vision is to compile a history of this one block-1600 Scoville Ave, Berwyn Illinois but expand to surrounding areas as information comes available.
I was thinking about all the neighbors who have moved away in just the last few years, including some older folks who may have had valuable information about life in the 60’s-90’s on this block, but I will start my search in the 1920’s.
My house in the middle of the block was built in 1926 so I’m a little sentimental on its 100th anniversary so I decided in not now, when??
