For the purpose of this blog, we will start with the 1920’s. I don’t want to rehash the information that is already out there. Here’s a link to broad north berwyn history:

I find this particularly relevant:
Renamed Streets (Post-1920s): To eliminate confusion, South Berwyn renamed streets to align with the north, changing Ivison to Wisconsin, Berkeley to Wenonah, Harold to Clinton, Irving to Kenilworth, Elliot to Grove, Carol to Euclid, Baldwin to Wesley, Winfield to Clarence, Hiawatha to East, Wood/Pilsen to Scoville, Linden Place/Prague to Elmwood, Union/Greenwood to Gundersen, Sheldon/63rd to Cuyler, 63rd/Morton to Highland, and 62nd/Aurora to Harvey.
Also important:
Block after block of bungalows rose as Berwyn’s population swelled; from 14,150 in 1920 to 47,027 in 1930 – an increase of 222% in just ten years.
